In a small office on Lincoln Road, these consultants from around the world work together to assist their clients in managing their SAP applications, a complex multi-million dollar software used by large corporations and government agencies.  Meridian clients include Miami Dade Public Schools, the South Florida Water Management District, Jefferson County Alabama and RailAmerica.   While providing support to these organizations, consultants share their technical knowledge and inevitably learn about other cultures and make friends, too. 

“I had no idea that Indians had such lavish weddings over so many days,” states Gilbert Wilmer, a Mexican native who has worked at Meridian for almost a year.  “I’m hoping to make it to one of these events someday as they sound amazing.”

“I have learned more about beer from my Wisconsin co-worker than I care to admit.  Next time I go out, I may not just ask for a Corona!” adds Marketing Director, Susanne Sanchez who moved to Miami from Boston.  “Having the office on Lincoln Road also allows us to taste much our colleagues’ home dishes during lunch.  The person from that country tells us what’s best to order.  It’s a lot of fun.”

Once a month, Meridian holds a potluck lunch where people bring dishes from their native country and share recipes.  “I love Gilbert’s Mexican dishes,” states Sid Sanghvi, one of Meridian’s Project Managers.  “The spiciness reminds me of many Indian meals.  It almost makes me homesick!”
